Edit Paints
“Trying to capture something real, I believe, is harder than doing monsters from your imagination. The size is an extra challenge. I love that it’s small and personal. The challenge makes me passionate.”
-Edit
Artist Edit Paints specializes in hyper-realistic micro tattoos, both in black and grey and color. Edit is the co-owner of Gida Tattoo, located in Tel Aviv, Israel. Her signature art style brings to life still images of real people, celebrities, paintings, insects, animals, paintings, and more.
Edit is only 30, but she has been creating art for as long as she can remember. In fact, from a very young age, Edit has been obsessed with illustrating small, intricate details on unconventional canvases. This love for a challenge has made her the master she is today.
In 2024, Edit gave a seminar at the Eden Summer Symposium. Her demonstration was one of the most impactful, informative presentations ever given at one of our Symposiums.
Edit has taught thousands of tattoo artists of all skill levels both online and in person. She is one of the best art educators in the world.
Avihoo Ben Gida
Teaching Assistant
In his early twenties, Avihoo moved to London to study Tattooing.
After an intense period, he came back to open Gida Tattoo in Tel Aviv. With 20 artists, it is one of the most prestigious tattoo studios in the world.
He specializes in black and grey realism & portraits, often creating stunning large scale compositions that fit the body, utilizing fine line work and open space.
Avihoo taught Edit to tattoo. As her mentor and husband, he understands her techniques as well as she does. As a teaching assistant for this seminar, he provides massive value to students, giving each one even more hands-on guidance from a second master of tattooing.
